This
matching numbers 1967 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark III BJ8 is in its
original color of British Racing Green with a Biscuit Interior and
Tan Convertible Top. It is a matching numbers car documented with
its British Heritage certificate. The president of the company purchased
the car from a neighbor of his in the Hamptons who was a prominent
Bridgehampton resident (a street was named after him in his honor).
It is a 28,000 original mile car that had been sitting in a garage
for some time. After purchasing the car we found it to be in excellent
mechanical condition with a need of some cosmetic restoration. We
sent the car out to be stripped and completely repainted. The car
is rust free and the floors are in excellent condition. We had a
new biscuit leather interior installed with new carpeting, canvas
convertible top, and boot cover as well. The wood was sent out and
completely refinished and all of the brightwork is excellent. Such
low mileage Austin-Healeys are a rare find especially in this restored
condition. |
