Cooper Classics is proud to present this exquisitely restored 1959 190SL. This car was the lucky recipient of a full restoration in the mid 90's to factory specifications. It is presented in its factory color combination of Light Blue with a Grey Leather interior. During the restoration, the car received a full repaint in its factory color, all new chrome, rubber, interior, and a full brake system rebuild. The result is a first place award winning car as judged at the Mercedes Gemutlichkeit (Concours Event) Nationals in 1999. Today, the restoration has been impeccably preserved, with an interior that looks fresh off the restoration floor, and a well maintained paint job with only minor imperfections. The underside of the car is still in excellent condition, and it is evident that the car has been meticulously maintained and driven less than 3000 miles since the full restoration. The original Solex Carburetors are both in a perfect state of tune and the car fires up instantly from a cold start with a smooth idle. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears and the serviced brakes stop the car without issue. The car comes with its matching hard top, a good condition soft top, and its grey leather boot cover.
