 Presented here is a highly original 1959 Mercedes Benz 220s Ponton, it has been owned by the same owner since 1962 and was meticulously looked after and cared for. The car has been repainted in its factory color of graphite grey and has received some attention to the body over the years, but other then that it remains largely untouched. The original red Roser leather interior is in surprisingly great shape for its age with a great patina and showing only a little cracking on the top of the driver seat bolster. The wood is in excellent shape and the original convertible top functions better than any Ponton that we have had in stock with a new top installed. The car is a delight to drive, the transmission shifts well and the engine runs so smoothly it is barely audible at an idle.

The car comes with its original toolkit and very extensive service file with work orders dating back to 1962 at the time of purchase
