1966 Jaguar E Type 4.2 Series 1 Roadster

Presented in Red with a Black interior and black soft top this fully restored E type roadster has spent a most of its life in the dry climate of Southern California. The full restoration was performed in the late 1980s; however, more recently it has been refreshed and brought back to high end standards.
Mechanically the car is very well sorted; the matching numbers engine and transmission have been rebuilt. All of the suspension bushings, rack and pinion, wheel bearings, shocks, ball joints, and so on have been either rebuilt or replaced. The brake calipers, master cylinder, and servo have been rebuilt as well.
Cosmetically the car looks brilliant, the chrome shows nicely and the black interior is spotless with its original radio. The paint and body are straight and free of cracks or blemishes.
On the road the car drives wonderfully, with ample power from the 4.2 inline DOHC 6 cyl. The car accelerates and shifts extremely well and the car is tremendous under braking. Overall this is excellent driving E type roadster that is sure delight any sports car enthusiast.
The car is being sold with a heritage certificate, owners manual, as well as restoration and service records.
