Documented in the Shelby Registry, this gorgeous and exceptionally rare 1967 Shelby GT500 Fastback recently completed a full rotisserie restoration. Now showing just 43,975 original miles on the clock and in spectacular as-new condition, it was delivered new to the Foreign Car Center in Birmingham, Alabama in 1967and was later sold to the original owner, Carl E. Newman of Atlanta, Georgia. Always a Southern car, this matching numbers GT500 is correctly finished in Ford Nightmist Blue on all original body panels and fiberglass, with White sill stripes and a Black Deluxe interior. Notably, it was originally ordered without the Le Mans stripes, a feature carried over in the restoration. Equipment includes the Shelby-spec 428 CI Police Interceptor engine with factory dual inline 4-barrel carburetors, C-6 automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, power steering, and factory power front disc brakes.
